USAF Drive & Tour

8:30 leave LaMar's Donuts at Lincoln and I-25. (this is the Lincoln south of 470 - not the downtown one) The we will then take the tour down Parker Road to Franktown and then we will turn Left on Hwy 86 and drive to the USAF Academy for the tour at 10 AM. This will be a 1 and 1/2 hour tour of the Academy. Then we will leave the USAF Academy at 11:30 for Garden of the Gods. Lunch at 12 noon. Get the Buffet lunch which includes croissant sandwich, soup, potato salad, dessert and beverage for only $7.52 (includes tax) each. We have reserved the Cafe' for this - Outside patio with the best views. Then leave the Garden of the Gods at 1:30 and drive back to Denver. Your choice as to the route home but I like via Woodland Park and Confier (Hwy 285).

You also need to bring your Drivers License (for everyone in the car), car registration and proof of insurance for the car to get onto the Academy. Also please note that "There can't be any drugs, bombs or dead bodies in the cars. Or Weapons"
Rose and Dave Siggins are going to join us for this drive. Also Karl Sauer. And maybe some Mustangs.
