Here are some of the details:

Time of the cruise is 2 to 7PM. Locations as of now are NAPA/Super KMart at 15200 E Colfax, East High School at 2300 E Colfax, Streamline Hot Rod Parts at 800 Kalamath St, Invesco Field at Mile Hi, Club Auto at 11100 W 8th St, a nd Pifler's Sports Tavern at 11353 W Colfax.

If the MHCC want to be a host club for a site, then I will volunteer to be the Site Coordinator for that site. Most of our job will be to direct people into and out of the site, make them feel welcome and pass out the Programs. For each site, we are estimating that we will need 8 volunteers per shift for three shifts (1 to 3, 3 to 5 and 5 to 7) Early shift will have to set up (cones and such) and work being nice to people. Middle shift will the busiest with people and the last shift will have to work and then help tear everything down and get it back to parking lot shape. A husband and wife count as 2 volunteers if they both want to work at being nice for a few hours. For volunteering you get to 1) have your choice of parking and viewing spots 2) Two free VIP dinners on Friday night at the Club Auto catered by Piflers and 3) a free shirt per volunteer. We will have entertainment at each site including the DJ's from Cruisin Oldies 950AM Radio as well as their band the "Cruisin Cats", Da Boogie Man and others. Food at every site (except Invesco) will also be available. A big change this year will be the major support of both the Colfax Business Improvement District and the West Colfax Business Improvement District. We will have some volunteers who will be helping the BIDs with their events also. And we are working with the Fillmore Auditorium on a Rock and Roll Concert to be held after the Cruise. I am working on getting free tickets for the volunteers. Still in the process.

So -What am I asking? Do you want to help? If so - please let me know by August 10 so I can figure out who what and where I need more clubs to cover the Cruise.

I promise not to work anyone too hard. The more the merrier and the less work for anyone.
